The Avicultural Society of Australia Inc. supports its members in the breeding and conservation of aviary held birds.
It has over 1000 members throughout Australia and Overseas.
Monthly meetings are held in Melbourne and at various country branches within the state of Victoria.

The Society meets at 8pm on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
(Except December) at our meeting place in
"The Pines Learning Centre" 520 Blackburn Road, East Doncaster Melway Ref 34 D5
Enter via Entrance South Side of the building
The Hall is located just north of Reynolds Road in Blackburn Road
behind the Pines Shopping Complex

Our Ballarat Branch recently donated $250
to Bush Heritage Australia.

This donation will be used to protect the Night Parrot which was recently rediscovered in a small area in Western Queensland. Donations will help to protect these birds from feral cats and wild fires. Monies will also be used to conduct further field research to better understand this extremely rare species. If any members or other Branches wish to send a donation it can be sent to
