The Avicultural Society of Australia Inc. supports its members in the breeding and conservation of aviary held birds.
It has over 1200 members throughout Australia and Overseas.
Monthly meetings are held in Melbourne and at various country branches within the state of Victoria.

The Society meets at 8pm on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
(Except December) at our meeting place in

Avicultural Society of Australia Convention Inc. Healesville Sanctuary

The Avicultural Society of Australia through its Vice President Matt Baird has organized a Convention in conjunction with the Healesville Sanctuary for September 2015.
The Convention will be held on the 4th, 5th & 6th of September at the Sanctuary, will involve International and local Speakers covering a variety of bird related topics.
Please note that Bookings are essential as there are a limited number of spaces available.
Accommodation facilities are available in the Healesville
and surrounding area.
The cost of the Convention is $330 which includes morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, a Formal Dinner Saturday evening and entry fee to the Sanctuary.
Friday the 4th of September will be devoted to an Aviary Bus Tour
at a cost of $50 per person departing from the Sanctuary at 8am.
